Need some encouragement, and maybe some friends :)
After an amazing summer of being on track and exercising regulary, life has once more derailed me and left me on the side of the train tracks scratching my head and wondering how I got here. I haven't gained everything back yet. I lost about 35 lbs from 235 down to 200, and now I'm back at 217.
I'm trying to not beat myself up too hard about this, because this is just something I need to remember happens occasionally, and needs to be addressed in a positive way. So today, I restared counting calories, and went for a 2.5 mile walk/jog, and right now I have about 600 calories left for dinner.
I'd really love some support and some friends though, to keep on track for the next few weeks and get back down to a size 12 by Valentine's day (for me, that's about 195 lbs).
Hi Foodie: You know what? I don't think you could be all that off track if you decided to get back here before you regained all the weight you lost, and that you're ready to go again. Almost everyone has a period of time where things just aren't going the way you want. You know what you need to do and there are tons of people here to talk you through when you need it! 600 calories for dinner can be pretty satisfying especially if you pile up a ton of veggies. You go girl!
Hey Foodie!
Be encouraged that you got yourself on track. You recognized you were veering off course and got back on the horse! I did the same thing when I finished working at the end of the summer and didn't work for a whole month. I stayed at home and ate what I wanted and never exercised. But what matters is that we recognize our mistake and visualize our goals.
If you want/need someone to keep you accountable you can message me. I do better with accountability and right now my family isn't terribly supportive. I have about 20 lbs to lose with a goal to lose it by April. Of course 10 lbs by Christmas would be nice!
Hey woman! Welcome back, and no worries about gaining some back... You lost it all in the first place, right?
Don't beat yourself up; just get your rear back in gear and heave to! I'm right ere with ya, girl.
