Hi everyone,
If you ever need encouragement, just try on an old pair of bluejeans!
I kept one old pair of blue jeans so I could try them on as I loose weight. I just tried them on and WOW! To think they used to be tight on me! I just uploaded the picture to my gallery. So, go take a look. I've lost 24 lbs so far. Even some of my size 14's are starting to be slightly loose now and I have 2 pair of size 12's that fit! I can't wear a 12 in everything but in some I can.
I need to remember to just put these pants on next time I start to feel discouraged. It sure was an emotional boost for me today.
I would love to see other's pictures of this type. Anyone else care to post.

interesting u should post this. i have a pair of jeans i havent worn in years, not since before i had kids (10 years!!) I recently got into them, about a month ago. But i tried them again this week and the legs are really roomy! It's just not attractive....But it makes me feel good.
Isn't it amazing how much difference 24 lbs can make? But think...that's two bowling balls! So imagine carrying two 12 lb bowling balls around all day...You must FEEL lighter, too, right?
It just reminds you of the hard work that you put in
I tried on a bunch of dresses from High school ( I graduated in 2007) and my homecoming dress from freshman year fit me perfectly (even better than when I was a freshman) my junior year prom dress and homecoming dress were extremly loose, and my prom dress from my senior year FELL off of me....like fell to the floor!!!! Thats what 50 lbs will do!
Yeah, my old 36 waist jeans from 2 years ago are useless...Oh, and as much as I think guys in skinny jeans are lame, I tried on a pair by accident thinking they were regular fit last weekend at Nordstrom's, yeah if I was a gay dude I could totally pull those off I think...really accentuated the butt not that I was paying that much attention or anything.....................uh, do I hear crickets chirping?
I'm so glad you posted this southern_midwife
my closet was full of jeans from ranging from sizes 16 down to 10 I dreamt of the day to be able to go to my "skinny" jeans and celebrated every time i was able to go a size down!!now I'm an 8!!! it was the best feeling in the world when I cleaned out my closet and took bags and bags full of clothes that were way to big over to Goodwill!! Now I have the pair of size 6 jeans that I use as motivation!! and whenever I'm feeling down I try on a dress that once was fitted and now I just look silly in because it is way too big. Congrats to all and lets keep up the good work!!!![]()
