Everyone does slip up from time to time... it happens. You realize you're on a rampage so just put a halt to it! You're not binge eating--which would be a bigger problem--instead you're just having a "cheat day." Maybe workout a little bit longer today or just take today as a cheat day and continue your healthy eating/living plan tomorrow.

This happens to all of us just don't throw away the rest of the day by cont to eat unhealthy.

Yes we all do have set backs. I usually do on Saturdays, like today when I had 2 eggos and 4 french toast sticks= 500 calories for breakfast, and then an over stuffed omelette's for lunch...mmmm and the not so healthy oatmeal raisin cookie:) I splurged, but I did work out today. I wanted to garden or hit the gym again to burn off the extra's but I had some sewer issues at home which shut that dream down. But what are you going to do but wake up and try again tomorrow!

It might not even be as bad calorically as you think it is!  It certainly doesn't sound like you have overeaten if that is all you have had for the day.  No beat yourself up too bad.  Just get back on the program tomorrow.

I would say to you 'there are no bad foods, just bad diets'.  If the rest of your week has been full of fresh, healthy foods, plenty of fruit and vegetables, wholegrains and so forth than a blueberry muffin isn't going to make a major difference.

A healthy diet includes the occasional 'not-so-healthy' food.  So make sure you make room for them from time to time rather than seeing it as a slip up

Well, I wouldn't worry. You always have Sunday to re-jump your program.. I always re-jump my program on Sunday. With 3 kids, and sleep overs during most weekends. It's really hard trying to stay on your diet. "Life Style Change"

You haven't done anything we all haven't done in the past. I do 1 day of freedom. I eat some of the things I still love to eat, and I enjoy myself. I don't go nuts over a few calories here or there. When you start to worry, you start to fall.. So always remember.. You can always dust yourself off, and get back on that treadmill, walking path, or elliptical. And you can always get back on that right path of eating.

Good Luck,
