ok, i know its not healthy. i need help with some real facts and whatnot. ive been on hydroxycut hardcore for about 8 months now, and its starting to have effects that arent good. constant headaches, high blood pressure, cant concentrate, my veins are huge and pop out everywhere, etc. whats going to happen if i stop taking it? am i going to gain back all the weight ive lost with it? i started taking it a long time ago before i found this website and really knew what a calorie was, and i did it to make fast changes, big mistake i know. dont just say stop taking it, i know that, but some real facts or something of the like would be really helpful, thanks in advance.

When it comes to anything with drugs, I call my pharmacist. They usually know better than the doctor. Try them first, because it might make a difference if you have any medical issues.
I don't have any specific facts, but I do know that there is no such thing as free lunch (no pun intended).  Basically there is no easy button for weight loss.  It sounds like you should quit the hydroxycut...none of the symptons sound good for your health.  If you continue your research on healthy eating...this website is a good first step...then you will have the tools you need to keep the weight off.  And keep it off b/c you adopted a healthy lifestyle and not b/c you popped a pill.

Good luck!!
Definitely see a health care professionalist.  It's usually not a good idea to go cold turkey on any drug you've been on for a long time.
It might not even be the hydroxycut that's causing your problems.
I used to take hydroxycut.

One of its main ingrediants is caffeine (that's why they say not to take in any other sources caffeine while you are on it)

When you stop taking it you will get headaches and feel tired just from the caffeine withdrawl but you won't gain all the weight back if you are watching your calories.

You may be addicted to this so I'd say slowly reduce your dosage and maybe compensate with tea or coffee. I'm not going to tell you what you told me not to, but that company is in a class action law suit for false claims. You probably lost weight because of what you did or did not eat. I'd venture to say that you would have done as well had you not taken it. I thought about taking suppliments, but didn't want to afford it. I lost just by eating good stuff and exercising. I'm 6', 153 and I still watch what I eat. The gym is what really made a difference. What are your stats and goals?

AHHHHHH!!!!!! Zombie Thread!!!!!!!!!! Run Awayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

Dude - check the date before you bump old threads! The OP hasn't been on this site since Nov 2007!

Hydroxycut has been linked with liver failure, kidney failure, and the rapid destruction of muscle tissue.  I wouldn't recommend that anyone use it.  If you have been using it and you're not feeling well, you should probably see your doctor right away.

Honestly, there are no short cuts.  Diet pills don't work.  If they did, we would all be eating pizza and looking like Twiggy.
