hello! i usually avoid carbs in evening it seems to help. Where in mexico are you going?
don't eat 3 hours before bed
You're not going to accomplish much in a week so dont do a crash diet or anything stupid.  The best thing you can do is just do a bunch of ab exercises (crunches, situps, bicycles, etc) each morning while you are in Mexico to tighten the ab muscles for the day and make your stomach appear tighter.

Do bicycle crunches.  3 sets of 15-20 each day.

You probably won't notice much in a week unless you've totally neglected your abs.  Good luck!
avoid bad carbs, eat lots of fruit in the morning and veggies during the day.  drink lots of water and stay away from carbinated drinks.  If you cut out carbinated drinks you will notice a difference within a few days. those things will keep your stomach from being as bloated but you arent going to cut your abs in a week.
What Slappy suggested will have the most noticebale effects.
Unfortunately (ya can't spot-reduce- darnit) And a week isn't enough for serious cardio effects...

But cutting out carbonated drinks- and also- keep your salt down to a minimum... and I always stay away from anything processed the morning before the bikini comes out.

Watch your breakfasts- Mexico is full of those all inclusive buffets (Damn I love that place) But a lot of the food is processed... watch things like cheese.

Most importantly- Have fun- Get out the bathing suit and strut your stuff- Lemme tell ya- confidence is sexier than a flat belly anyday. :) And have a Margarita for me. Yum!
merc- is right!  confidence baby!
thank you to everyone who applied everything has helped and im going to los cabos .. ive never been in mexico before so i'm excited!

here is a REALLY REALLY simple "crunch" you could do throughout the entire day... its like doin a regular crunch....  When you are sitting/standing flex your stomach and hold it for 10 seconds then release and do that a few times... do it all day if you want...i didn't think it would work but one day i did it off and on all day long... the next day my stomach muscle were sore.... do it at least a few times a day now, esp if i'm just sitting at my desk at work, or watching tv, or even when i'm out to eat... it has helped my posture because while your doin it you have to sit up straight....
Avoid salt, it makes you bloat. Have fun! :)
Best quick tip for looking good in a bikini (or anything else, for that matter):

POSTURE

I know for myself that my habitual slumpy posture was emphasizing my belly, but I didn't know what to do about it. Then during rehabilitation for an injury, the physical therapist corrected my posture and helped me learn how to make it habitual. I swear my belly doesn't look half as bad, just with that one change. In addition, when you start using your ab muscles correctly to support your upper body, you're actually keeping it at a constant low-level of exercise, further contributing to the good looks of your torso.

Here are some of the tips she taught me:

First, most people try to suck their belly in. This is exactly the wrong approach; it'll just make you look like someone sucking in her belly, and also you can't really sustain it. Instead, focus first on your solar plexus. Lift that up and kind of "snug it into" your body (tits pointing a bit downward, LOL!). Lift your shoulders up and back, then relax and let them settle into that alignment. Now, pull your belly button in towards your spine and tilt your pelvis in at the same time.

Practice it in front of a mirror. Put that bikini on and practice in front of a mirror until you like what you see. Really learn what that posture feels like. Then during your day, whenever you're standing waiting -- in line at the supermarket, for the elevator, etc. etc. -- try and remember to assume that posture.

The more you do this, the more you tend to remember at other times, like when you're walking.

No matter what else you do to get your belly flatter in a week, I guarantee this will make you look better in that bikini!

Have a great time in Mexico!
