still need to gain 15 pounds...help!
I still have yet to gain any weight. THe only thing i can think to do is increase my calories because I am still just around 2000. I have become more lenient on myself so am allowing treats here and there (my mom made brownies last night and i had a little piece). Should i keep increasing my calories? I was going to try to get 2000 on my own then eat whatever my mom cooks for dinner so i would be somwhere in the 2400-2500 range. I still workout everyday but have tried to reduce cardio 30-45 min, and have taken up weight lifting 30 min three times a week, then some little stuff everyday. I need to gain 15 pounds before i go back to school to get back up to 125 and play soccer, because right now i would break if i tried to play. I have a little over two months, but my therapist still wants 2 pounds a week. THis week is almost over, so i want to at least gain one.
hm. I would say that you should drink liquids that are high in calories. Make some shakes and load them up with protein, maybe even buy the protein stuff from the health store to mix in there. Do not stress youself out about this week persay, then you may get worse. Relax a little, and eat what you can throughout the rest of the week. Next week remember that there is a reward to win those two pounds. The reward is that you will have succeeded, this will boost your confidence as well as your weight. Do not forget that you need to do this to play sports again. Good luck!
