I need to gain weight :(

Hey I feel I'm thin. I try to eat as much as I can but since I travel a lot it's not helping me. I need to gain muscle and bone weight. Knocking the doors of any Gym won't be possible for me because I have got my college from 9am to 6pm. And then the guitar classes. I won't be able to take time out for gym. Please suggest something. I saw people posting about taking protein shakes. But can somebody suggest the name of any particular good quality shake that's availabe in the market?? Please Help Cry

Hi terrymn....Muscle Milk is pretty good. Its taste pretty good and comes in a variety of flavors. Be careful though if your not working out and eating plus drinking protien shakes.......the weight may come faster than your ready for.

I've been drinking the generic brand of Ensue Plus from Wal-Mart.  I drink one when I wake up with breakfast and one before I go to bed.  I've been drinking these since february and I've been putting on a pound every week.  Hopefully they will work for you.

Oh yeah, If you smoke.....quit.  I recently quit smoking cigarettes and have notice a difference in my weight and energy.  The extra money isn't bad either.

Firstly in order to gain healthy weight you will NEED to workout out. Otherwise you're wasting your time taking any drink supplements as they're full of protein which will only help you gain weight if you use the protein e.g working out. You only need to work out 3 hours a week so i'm sure you can fit that in somehow.

Ha I was like you once, weighed about 38 kilos (4 years ago) and wanted to gain weight desperately! Now I weigh about 10 kilos more and look much healthier... I don't think I did anything differently except I started working out, I exercise about one hour a day which I think is enough to try and build up some muscle and obviously to stay fit and healthy. That also gave me an appetite since I'm always starving after work-outs and so I eat a lot more, but still healthy, nonetheless.

Oh, and I have a lot of school too, but I feel like I study better if I exercise more. Go out for a run or something, you don't have to go to the gym!

i have school as well all day then i work so its hard for me too. i have trying to gain weight also. even though it is hard to fit into our schedules we have to work out or weight gain or management will not work. i do small work outs while i study at home. like push ups while i read my books or sit ups while i watch tv or read. I also do lunges around my house. Lunges are a great exercise that gain muscle.
