Hi my name is Candis and I am shocked to see that I'm not the only one in the world with this problem. I have faught with being to skinny and sickly for most of my life. I am now in a battle once again with my weight it keeps falling off and I don't want it to. The most I have ever weighed not being pregnant is 120. I am now at 106 and struggling to keep my clothes on. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!

My advice in the first instance would be to concentrate on protein. For your weight you should be aiming for 65 grams of protein per day. Meats, milk and nuts are good sources. If you exercise alot you will burn off alot of what you eat. Therfore, look to double your protein intake to 100g per day.

I know how you feel.I am a small guy here I to have been to skinny all of my life.

But my life took a turn on 12/31/08 maybe for the better or not.

My wife for 11 years told me she was not happy living here anymore

That alone hurt me a lot.I then said you want out go for it.So now I thought now is the time to try once again to gain weight.I am only at 124 now but just a little while back I was smaller than I am now so this smoking thing that tells you if you stop smoking you will gain weight  is B.S.

Because I have stop once before and gain only 5 pounds and I was eating ever thing I could put in my mouth for 11month I tryed so hard to gain after trying for 11 months I gave up and went back to smoking that was 20 years or more ago. This time I have not been smoking for a year now.And I must say I really do feel better.And I ride my bicycle a lot too.I have gain about 15 pounds in about 5 months not to good I guess but it really is hard to gain weight.So you are not alone.You never hear about try to gain weight on TV all you hear is LOSE WEIGHT I am so tired of hearing this.All I can say is keep on eating every thing like milk,butterbread,cheese. to name a few boy that was a few huh lol.Good luck to you and to all of us that are trying to gain weight my goal is to weigh 165 or 180 so I have a way to go too.GOOD LUCK to all of US.
