need a good workout routine
hi, hoping i can get some help determining a good workout routine. im 17 and trying to lose weight. recently i just kinda started to every other hour doing about 30 push-ups, ~60 sit ups, ~100 crunches, 40 lunges, and some jumping jacks. i dont have money to spend on weights so i dont have any. i was just wondering whats a good routine i could do with no equipment. stuff that would be helpful would be giving me a good order and ammount to do and some more excerises i should do. i do sometimes do a quick jog around my block, but not to often.
There are actually exercise routines for free on this site. Click on the Exercise tab at the top and you will find information on how and when to exercise and then also an exercise program. There is a thread somewhere that has people who are working their way through this program.
Check out the Fitness Forum on this site as well, especially the stickied notes at the top by Melkor to find that you don't need a gym or weights to get an effective workout. Most of all find something you like to do like run or walk or jump rope because if you like it you will stick with it. At 17 you should definately have fun while you are getting healthy.
Good Luck!
