I need help ladies!

Hello Everyone;

I am a natural strawberry blond who succumbed to my husbands wishes and dyed my hair an interesting shade of auburn and I dont have a clue as to what makeup to wear.  I have always kept my makeup very light as I am very fair skinned with freckles.  My eyebrows & lashes are blond and my eyes are blue. I have always used black/brown mascara and a cinnamon/gold brow powder.  With this new color I look so washed out! 

Did I mention I just dyed it a few hours ago!  I know that I will need to get use to  the color but I feel like I look ridiculous.  How do I adjust my makeup?  I think I need more vibrant colors but I need direction.  I used Loreal Feria #66 Very Rich Auburn.  The color is striking but and I thought I could carry it off but I just dont know now.  I am 49 years old so I cant get to crazy without looking like a witch.  Any Auburn Tressed CC members have suggestions?
