need help with new routine

Quote  |  Reply

Hi,

I used to spend about 2 hrs each day 5-6 days a wee2 working out, n mostly I would do these classes in the gym like turbo, weight lifting and everything.

But i have moved to Arkansas (Bentonville, to be specific) and the gym here is not good and I have more work and I has lost about 30 pounds which I am afraid I will gain back.

Can someone please share their routine which could be done quickly and efficiently and without too many fancy equipments.

And also my diet is changing as i am living with new roomates here as opposed to living with my husband there.

Please share any suggestions or tips to keep off the weight and to loose some more.I have about 20  lbs more to loose.

Thanks!

desperate for help :-(

Is there a track near where you live where you could run? or a loop. What is good is do a circuit of the loop jogging-then different exercises for 45 seconds and continue on for a loop again

for example-jog one loop-45 sec tuck jumps-jog another loop-45sec burpees-jog another loop-sprint on the spot-another loop-45sec plank and so on and you can vary the intensity to you level of fitness. these exercises suit from beginner to elite.

if that above is not possible why not begin to run or jog-brilliant cardio. nothing like an hour crunching gravel to get rid you of any anxiety and release those endorphins! In fact iv come up withmy best ideas and solutions to problems while running. Just make sure to layer up in this cold weather.

thanks for your suggestions....

thr r no tracks which I am aware of :-( I am new to this place so all the worse and I miss my old gym in seattle.

and it is too cold right now, but i can surely try to go out running.Seems to be a nice idea...

Thanks!!

i can relate

im from ireland but im over in the states on study abroad in upstate new york. as you can imagine, it was a HUGH culture shock. espically with food as the foos options on campus are the worst iv seen in my life(back home we have kitchens and cook for ourselves in college-no horriblr dining halls!!) and it's next to impossible to find unbuttered or un salted popcorn, unsalted nuts and everything has high fructose corn syrup. so it was a big change regulating my diet but iv done it.

then trying to figure out a new exercise routine. back home in my university i trained from 1-2pm and 5-7pm with some 7am practices tue and thurs. that was gone right out the window here but i figured it out-i spin/run and have not gained a pound at all.

there are lways ways. i know its stressfull cos of CHANGE-but its good to change. maybe hre a personnal trainer for a session or two and get on a decent weghts program and supplement that with running.

all the best
