It seems that I have fallen off of "the wagon" I haven't counted calories in 3 weeks now. I was doing great for 3 months and lost 30 pounds. Im still watching what I eat but haven't been counting, Obviously it's not working because I have gained a few pounds (im not beating myself up over it). I really need some getting back on track. have any of you gone through this? Any good advice?

If when you are not CC'ing and you quickly gain weight, you have not fully developed a healthy eating/exercising habit yet. Your ultimate goal should be that even if you are not CC'ing, your calorie balance keep you at the maintenance level.

I'm in the same boat. I lost 20 lbs this past spring but late summer coming into fall, I became comfortable again and haven't been as diligent as before. I've been telling myself to get back on track, but hadn't until this morning. You just have to jump back into it head first (literally). Just remember your thoughts and actions from when you lost the 30 and immediately put yourself back in that mindframe. You have to keep in mind that if you don't get back on track, you will slowly (maybe even quickly) but definitely put the weight back on. And then all your previous work will have been in vain. I am not going back to the 190s. It's just not an option, so I've got to kick myself back in gear. I was so happy to have reached the 20lb milestone, that I got comfortable and started to lose focus of my main goal to lose 30-35 lbs. So you just have to refocus and dive back in before you set yourself back even further.

I would say don't over think it. Just get back into the habits that helped you lose those 30lbs (seems like calorie counting helped you). The most important thing is that you are not beating yourself up over it.

The thing that helps me is to know that if you just push through this temporary unmotivated period doing all the work, there will be an awesome, totally easy, fit-into-jean sizes-I've-never-owned period just around the corner!

Congrats on the 30lbs weight loss so far!

That is such good advice!  Don't over think it, just get back in your good habits.  That is my problem...... I have been overthinking / obsessing / stressing which makes me anxious and eat even MORE... so I just need to shut up and do my work, and not worry about it :)

Thanks so much guys :)
