Need a little encouragement
Ok I'm a little down right now. And it's 4 days til my wedding...but I'm so stressed and everything's a little chaotic that I haven't focused on my eating or my health. I know I've been overeating. Luckily, we don't celebrate Easter so there wasn't any big feast but I haven't cooked all week....in other words we've been eating out all week. And i've really tried to make smart choices but I know it wasn't a good idea period.
I feel like I'm letting myself down. I guess what I would really like is some hugs from my calorie-count friends. :-) Thanks for listening to me.

Maybe taking a nice long walk with your husband-to-be will help clear your mind and work off some of those other meals...
I remember someone saying to me "there are some times when it just doesn't make sense to diet". Maybe now is a time for you to just sit back and relax for a week and then hop back on the wagon once your life settles down a bit? It might help to set a date a week or so after the wedding when you HAVE to start cooking again, so that you don't let yourself keep pushing it back...
Don't let your diet ruin your wedding! There's plenty of time for that afterwards, and this is a day you'll want to spend focused on other things, like you and your hubby!
Good luck, and have faith in yourself that you'll come back to this SOON. Even if you eat out, you can still make smarter decisions about what you order, right?
Congratulations on your wedding, I'm sure you'll look AMAZING!

Congratulations on your marriage! I agree with sweatsocksandanipod, your wedding is priority number 1 right now and it won't help to distract and confuse yourself while also getting depressed about not being able to stay on track.
These girls know what they're talking about. Take a deep breath....and relax. Eat when you're hungry, and carry on with your day. In 4 days you'll be stress-free, and all of a sudden you'll be re-motivated to get back on track. You need to enjoy this time in your life!
Walking would be a great idea.....if we weren't having record high's of 100 degrees. I don't do well above 80. (And i've lived in Texas all my life) :-)
Thanks for the encouragement guys. You're probably right in that I need to quit stressing about it. I just have so much weight to lose that its hard to feel like I can take a break. I know I'll be "pigging" out during the reception. We're having a pizza, pasta and salad buffet and I can't just eat the salad. I guess I should be proud that I've at least consciously thought about what I was ordering when I went out.
Goodness knows I've got enough to stress about already.

JK, getting married is one of the*most* stressful times in a person's life. I think you're doing a tremendous job by even making the effort to think about what you're eating while you're running around crazy.
Enjoy your day - and we'll see you on the flip side!

Congratulations on your wedding and I agree with sweatsocksandanipod--don't let your diet get you down, it's supposed to be the happiest time of your life!
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE HUG FOR YOU!!!!!!!
This whole weight loss thing can be sooooo stressful in itself, let alone trying to plan a wedding at the same time!
Try to take care of yourself, we're all thinking of you, and sending you huge hugs! You will look absolutely stunning on your wedding day, enjoy!

Relax, enjoy these next few days - stressful but so much fun!!! You'll be so busy it will fly by! I hardly ate 2 bites at my reception - I was so nervous with everyone watching me, plus I didn't want to spill on my dress!
