Need a Lo-Cal Chocolate Kick? - DELICIOUS Hot Chocolate
Recipe is so simple, it's as sinful as the taste of this :)
The Recipe is NOT mine. We got it from Prevention Magazine, but I had to share :)
Use
-1 cup non-fat evaporated milk
-2 tbsp unsweetened cococa
-2 tbsp REAL Maple Syrup
- Serves 2
- Mix together in a pan and SLOWLY heat (It will sear, so keep heat down) until boiling. Serve :)
It was DELICIOUS! It tastes like Chocolate Pudding and it weighed in at about 165 calories :)

That's undiluted evaporated milk? It really does sound rich and the milk would be twice as high in protein as regular milk. It's a cold day here, perfect for hot chocolate!
To the best of my knowledge, yeah. We grabbed a can of store brand :)
And, yes, it IS rich and delicious and relatively lo-cal, a wonderful treat! :)

I noticed you capitalized real maple syrup. You mean there are people out there that don't use it all the time?

Swiss Miss makes an excellent Diet instant hot chocoloate. Only 25 calories, about 4 carbs and has a good amount of calcium in it.
