Sometimes I can be a terrible shopper. This is one of those times. I need a backpack that will carry a laptop and be so transitional that I can wear it everywhere. I've been using an old army bag and feel kinda dumb if I decide to dress up a bit for work. I'm having no luck. At all.

So, any suggestions? I was looking at Kolo, but didn't really see anything I liked. Tocano has a couple that seem ok, but I don't think the ones I like are available in the US.

Fashion crisis, help!!!

I saw some nice looking back packs from  L L BEAN_ I get the catalog in the mail- I know  they are online too!! SOme of what they have might be good for work- hope that helps.Smile
My brother just got a laptop backpack made by HP.  It was $75 and came with some accessories.  Its pretty plain looking, and has an HP logo on it which I'd rather do without, but its made to hold laptop accessories and also to protect the computer.
I'd go with a messenger bag.  Banana Republic has some that look good; the Gap has some less expensive versions.  Hope this helps!
Have you been to the Case Logic website?  They have some cute messenger bags.  I like the pink one on their site right now.

See it here.
Ooh, pixyz, those are cute!  If I were in the market for a bag, I think that's where I'd order from!
Thanks, the Case Logic site might be right. There are a lot more cute options than I thought there were. The ones I was looking at all looked liked luggage with straps. These are much better.
I've seen ones that just looks like a large tote bag designed to hold laptops. They are usually not cotton - made of material more sturdy than cotton and the big thing about them is that they don't look like a laptop bag. If you want to carry laptop and look professionals(but not messengers), there are bags out there. Keep on looking.
