Any food ideas?

Apples for fiber. Lean meat and egg whites for protein.  I struggle with the same thing,  esp. the fiber. Good luck.
Thanks!!!
Do you eat a lot of packaged foods? Maybe just add more fresh veggies and dairy products to your diet.
strawberries,apples, carrots
Unprocessed bran has less salt than the normal
just buy salt reduced versions of canend foods
What sort of stuff do you eat and why do you have to reduce salt?

Fresh apricots are also loaded with fiber, and delicious.

As for the protein choice, I've heard that organic eggs are much better than regular, and also salmon and tuna. (organic, prefferably). Avoid any pre-processed sources of protein, lile any sausages, pre-packed meats, etc.
veggies and beans!  I am a vegetarian and always have over 30 mg fiber - I don't even think about it, but I eat a lot of rice and beans and loads of veggies.  Asparagus is in season now - so yummy!  Also - have fiber and protein for dessert - raspberries and soy milk with a teaspoon of sugar, so good.
I get these wraps called La Tortilla Factory. They have 8 grams of fiber and only 50 calories each for the small ones and 80 calories and 14 grams of fiber for the large ones. They may not sell them in your area. I also eat Fiber One bars they taste like candy bars.
Kashi Cereal for breakfast every morning....it has something like 8 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein in it. Obviously won't totally solve your problem, but I find that it helps :)
Yes, apples and pears have a lot of fiber, and also maybe peanut butter for protein?
Fiber One cereal - 1/2 cup has 14 grams of fiber and only 60 calories.  I mix it with fat-free yogurt (this will give you some protein) and it tastes delicious.
I suck at keeping sodium down also.  But getting plenty of Fiber and Protein is simple for me.

Protein: Grilled chicken, deli turkey.

Fiber: whole wheat bread and skinny cow brand icecream sandwiches(these are great.  140 cals with 3 fiber.

The best thing I have found for a lot of fiber and a decent amount of protein: beans.  Great northern beans per cup have 14 fiber and 14 protein.
I like the special k chocolate delight protein bars.  adds 4g protein to your daily intake. also good when your in a jam and really need a little snack. :)  I keep 2 in my purse!

Fiber - I've started eating shredded mini wheats (I like the frosted kind cause it's got some sweet in there and it's easier to down).
