I joined last june i think and lost about 6 lbs
this summer ive been so good and kept my weight around 145 lbs im five foot 7.5
i started high school this month and ive been so stressed and nervous and i havent been journaling my food intake
i started last week on the scale and the 12 week excersise plan here.
i have gained 7 lbs from being so stressed and from the past 3 days of journaling i discovered i have been eating between 2000 and 3000 calories
omg wth
i was soo mad i didnt realize at all
no wonder i hav gained so much
i want to be slender and have all the boys like me at school like all the other girls
i do well with exercise (even though i hate it)
i do cardio 4 to 5 times a week and just started strength training but i cancel it all out and then some with my over eating
any suggestions
Hi there. Well... first off, never get discouraged. You do seem to be doing great with exercise. Pretty much it looks like you just need to buckle down and watch your calories that you're taking in. I've started doing a calorie diet of 1200 calories over the past few weeks and it seems to work for me. But I don't exercise as much as you do, so you would be able to eat more calories than I am. Just try to keep up with how many calories you're eating and really buckle down. Once you start to lose a few pounds it will keep you motivated to go on. But don't get discouraged...
Have you considered partnering with a few friends? Recently I joined a weight loss group and we have public weigh-ins. I am very inspired to continue to lose those last few pounds.
Also, remember that weight loss isn't to have the boys like you, but to be confident in yourself. If you exude confidence, they won't be able to resist you! It is about you, not them ![]()
Good for you reaching out for help. I am finding not doing this thing alone has helped me. I do count my calories. I too was overloading.
i think i am a carb addict so have to watch refined foods especially salty ones. they set me off on a junk food roller coaster sometimes.
drinking water helps me lots. i want to be slender and attractive too. it feels good to feel good.
