when i first started here i went from 207 to 150...over the winter I gained 20 pounds, for over a month i have been eating clean and lifting weights and doing cardio. My weight wont budge. Yes i do feel like I might have lost an inch or two but why wont the scale move? I'm 5'5 170....at 170 wont my weight come off easier cause i'm heavier? Its just so frustrating. I dont know what to do anymore. I want to through my scale out the window!

The usual and most common reason for not losing weight is that you're eating more than you think. Keeping an accurate track of every single thing you consume, weighing out portions etc., could be a good first move. It's very easy to 'eat clean' but just eat too much.
A second, less common reason is that your body has adapted to maintain your weight on less food. This can happen if you've been dieting for a long time or if you're eating a lot less than you need. If you keep a track of your calorie intake and it's less than 1500 or so then you could find that is the case. 1500 should be your minimum.
Finally, it could be that you are building muscle which tends to be denser than fat. So your shape changes but your weight doesn't. If you think that's happening then maybe change your exercise routine around a little. Hope something there helps.

Thank you....
I want to lean towards the last one, I have been counting calories and I eat about 1350-1600 depending on if I workout or not (eating more on days I work out) My hubby says i look like i am losing weight but i am such a visual person I need to see it in numbers. Oh well I have to be patient I guess.
Once again thanks for the advice. :-)

My last suggestion is to have a 'day off' every so often. Enjoy a good 1900-2000 cals one day (over the weekend is good). This can sometimes kick-start a sluggish metabolism and get you off a plateau.
