Need reliable online source for celeb TV shows ~
Do you know of a RELIABLE website in which you can get upcoming appearances by searching with a celeb name, whether they be reruns or new shows/interview appearances?
Just discovered this with tv-now.com but it did not list a Leonard Nimoy appearance on the premiere of the biography channel's talk show, Shatners Raw Nerve. Wednesday I read prior online announcements of the show to air Tuesday and am sick that I missed it. Granted the bio channels site doesnt list it on that night so slim hope that maybe the other sites were wrong but believe the bio channel site just wasnt updated. I mention this because if anyone more resourceful than I can track the real air date, I'll clean their house, help them move or serve jury duty for them. Leonard old interviews were never very personal, more career like so this probably was a unique interview with him and the Shat being buds. Grrrrrr ...
i wonder if a google news alert for the celebs you're interested in would be helpful
might not - might just find out after the fact
but a lot of stuff finds its way to you tube...

Nope - but we have TiVO, and we can create wish lists by keyword, actor, title, and several other parameters, and it will come up with a listing of everything that applies within a 2 week timeframe. We can also set it to automatically record anything with those parameters.
Chances are the episode will be run again - if I remember, I can check TiVO for it.
In case you didn't figure it out, I really like TiVO.

Nomo - I will try Google and realize having 2 sources would be better as reinforcement anyway! Tivo sounds cool but I go almost all week without turning it on.

I don't know about upcoming tv shows but "The Internet Movie database" website has links to movies a person will be in it usually lists it "in production or sometimes it'll say (2009) as the date or might even say "title in progress" Its my favorite website to remember "oh gosh darn it what movie or tv show was that person in"

sun - I so know what you mean. Just this morning I was listening to my xm radio and a tune by Harry Nillson came on and it reminded me of the opening song of "The courtship of Eddies Father" so off to IMDB I go and sure enough Harry Nillson did do that song and so many others of his tunes have been in movies and tv shows!! And then learned he did a lot of stuff with John Lennon. Also lived in the house in the UK that both Mama Cass and Kieth Moon died in.
One of the problems I have with IMDB is going onto it to check something and a ridiculous time later finding Im still there because what I looked up made me want to check one more thing which snowballs into a long string of "just one more thing"s - they make it too easy! And that info about Nillson - you get so much interesting facts which can trigger you off on other tangents.
