Do I need to see a doctor to recover from an eating disorder?

I've just started my recovery of bulimia and anorexia. I'm really unsure of whether to see a doctor, a psychiatrist, a nutritionist, etc. I've been through counselling before but I wasn't really ready so it didn't help. I don't know where to go from here. I feel overwhelmed!
