what else can i drink when i'm just hanging out that doesn't have a lot of calories because i know Gatorade is mainly a drink for working out because of all the carbs in it.
Iced tea. You don't need to use the regular black tea alone- a lot of the herbal teas taste great without sugar.
you can clavor your water with almost any fruit. lemons, oranges, pineapple...some places even flavor it with cucumber. i also like crystal light to change up the flavor.
There is also that Special K protein water. It does double duty because of the protein in it you could curb an afternoon craving and get a nice fruity drink. You just don't want to drink it all day because it does have some calories and sugar. Another personal favorite of mine is water with a couple drops of peppermint concentrate (you can get it at any health food store). The peppermint will keep your breath fresh all day, tastes amazing, and some say that peppermint takes away cravings for sugar.
I drink a lot of plain green tea. 3-4 cups a day. You read all the positives about it and muh of it seems to be accurate. I'm less hungry, I was the only one in the household not to get any colds or flu(my wife and kids did), and there is only 30% of the caffine that is in coffee so I feel less stressed. I found out Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks have plain gree tea so I can get some almost anywhere.
Amen to green tea! I have some that is strawberry-orange flavored and love it!
I also like adding South Beach flavor packets to my water. The tropical flavor is my favorite!

Eh... Don't use the flavored water packets. If you want to flavor your water, use juice from a wedge of a citrus fruit, or use this:
its not exactly the healthiest option, but diet soda has helped me out a lot when i just want to eat for no reason at all. i still drink tons of water though.
Flavored slezter water. The bubbles make you feel full. and the flavors make you feel like it is a treat.
Club Soda, annd sparkling water come in all kinds of flavors. Or you can add a touch of juice and make a spritzer. Iced tea is great too.
Fresca!! It is delicious!! And ZERO cals.
It's carbonated (made by Coca-Cola) looks like a type of pop from the outside, so you won't stand out as if you're drinking a low-cal or boring drink. Plus, the carbonation fills you up - which helps tame cravings or unnecessary eating.
It has a few flavours, like grapefruit, peach, and black cherry (grapefruit is what I see on the shelves most often).

I just wanted to add that I am also a fan of the True Lemon products. Just flavor. No sugar, no chemical sweeteners. It comes in lemon, orange, and lime, in little packets that are easy to slip in your purse or pocket. Now I drink a lot of water, but it makes a nice change. And when I'm in a restaurant, I can order water and flavor it myself. Easy.
I second the flavored seltzer water. I like the poland springs brand ones, especially the orange. If you're feeling really daring, you can add a splash of cranberry juice for some more flavor and a bit of color.
