I need a weight loss/metabolism jolt!!!
I am new here, my first post. I have been dieting since beginning of July. Started at around 210. I am down to 189.5 as of today. Tried the low-carb thing, trying low fat now, with those Alli pills. Only lost 1lb each week the last few weeks. I have so much to lose, you tink it would come off a little faster??! I am 31 yr old F, 5'2, want to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight of around 130. Any suggestions on how to get it off quicker?

You didn't mention an exercise program. If you aren't exercising, then that will definitely "jolt" your metabolism.
Are you currently exercising? My weight loss stalled for about a month and as soon as I started exercising more, the weight stared to come off again!
I try to walk at lunch at work whenever possible, andI lift free weights and do some floor excercises (sit-ups, etc...) but with a 3 yr old at home its hard to find time for me and a formal excercise program/routine. what kind of excercise/activity would be best? cardio of weight training? thanks for your help!!
You should do some of both. Cardio helps your heart and lungs whereas the weight training helps your bones and muscles. You should stretch before and after working out too. I would imagine that taking care of a 3 year old would involve both. Sometimes it matters what you eat as well if you want quicker results. Try having balanced meals with fruits, veggies, and protein. Also, drinking lots of water should help your body adjust and melt off the fat.
