I am also fighting depression, in the past i used food to help me. Now i just focuse on how bad i wanna lose weight. It really helps me to work out every day i tell myself i can do this. I think what really helps me is doing pilates. but good luck.

Depression can be a horrible and tricky thing to deal with. I have been dealing with it for many years. The hardest part sometimes is just getting out of bed in the morning. What I do is try to find something that brings me joy or makes me feel good, a good book or a nice walk for pleasure, and do that when I'm feeling the worst. You just have to be determined and know that some days you're just not going to have the natural drive to lose the weight but that's when you just do it anyway. I hope this helps.

Also, St John's Wort is a good natural antidepressant. Here's some info about it. http://nccam.nih.gov/health/stjohnswort/

It can take a couple weeks to really start working just like any antidepressant because the levels need to build up in your system and you shouldn't take it if you're pregnant.

Thank you both for replying and I am going to look at that website thank you!!!
