now that im in the high 160 range im scared i will pop back into the 170's and that makes me nervous!

how do we know that by doin the same thing and eating the same nutritious way we will keep losing weight?

i know its calories in vs calories out, but then i read on a forum that every pound u lose u should deduct 10 calories everytime from your total cal allowance- that doesnt seem right though? is it? i breastfeed so i eat around 1900-2000 cals and been losin w/ that but i guess now i just got a lil scared since i have read that. i dont calculate every 10 cals i usually average in a range?

will i keep losin this way then?

If you're losing weight steadily at the rate of about 1lb or 1.5lbs a week then your intake/output is just fine.  I went from about 200+lbs to 150lbs on exactly the same calorie intake and exercise level.  If the weight-loss seems to be slowing up or stopping all together then that might be a cue to have a rethink.  But in the meantime, just keep on as you are.  You sound like you're doing great.

THANKS SO MUCH- I THINK IT JUST SCARED ME A LIL- I NEEDED SOME MOTIVATION!!

Hi as gi-jane said.

If you find your slowing down and you need to keep up the cals for breastfeeding you might just need to change your activity level that is add some intensity or change your activity cuz your body would have gotten used to it.

Congrats on your weight loss so far and good luck, no not luck really more like good hard work for the future. Couldn't find a nicer way to say it. Ha ha
