Nestle fitness

Quote  |  Reply
Ok CC doesnt have the plain Nestle fitness cereal so I checked the calories on the box and it says 30g plus 125ml of skimmed milk=152 calories but when i checked dailyplate.com it said 50g was like 181 calories ,anyway I calculate 30g plus 125ml of milk from that and its much more than what nestle has written on the box and this site is pretty accurate, Im doubting Nestle's info because when they say 125ml skimmed milk diff brands can vary a lot in calories for skimmed milk sooo which one should i believe ?:s Please answer

nestle is evil as far as im concerned.
how come:s
basically, they feed babies in africa powdered nasty milk which gives them no nutrients - which envitably kills the babies.
well thats news to me ;s
"Nestle is one of the largest companies in the world, and also one of the most vile. They know that once formula is introduced to a baby, the breastfeeding relationship is over, and they've got money in their pockets. They 'donate' formula to new mothers in third world countries. The formula lasts just long enough for their milk to dry up. What is a poor mother to feed her baby when she has no breastmilk and no money to buy formula? "

Simply search 'evil nestle' on google and you'll find plently of reasons to stop buying their products.

I havnt eaten nestle is at least 6 years - probably more.
it doesnt make sense why would they want to kill women in third world countries :S Businesses like that only do it if they have something to gain;.
Money.
hahaha okay besidesss nestle being evil.

I would take the calories for the without milk nutrition, add it to your food log, and then add in the milk that you use.  Tag the milk that you use into calorie count, because most of us grab the same brand over and over. Its best to have your own.  Generic measurements that any website puts out can be wrong.

PS: Dont believe everything you read on the internet.
read an article, gonna find out if they stil do tht
they still do it.
please, anyone doing this - do your best to boycott nestle products.
buy a nestle product - kill a baby.
I believe that that's no longer true, katy.
Though the World Health Organization and U.N. did get involved.

Africa gets the same baby formula we do. Unless Nestle's worked around the laws.

Here's some backup, but you can do a google search on Nestle and World Health Organization to get more.
nope - it's still true.
Do you have proof to back that up?
Thanx x17star17x :)
Actually, there seems to be some truth. Katydalt may be correct.
Well, here's my thought, then, katydalt.

Let's stop hijacking this thread. Let other people attempt to help the original poster with her actual question.

And by all means, post all this stuff to another thread in the Lounge telling others why they should continue to boycott Nestle. That would not be inappropriate. :)

Agreed? :)
haha, yeah sorry about that.
but any chance to get the word out and about i tend to take =D

BOYCOTT NESTLE!!
*cough*

yeah...sorry =D
Hey Katy,

I've been an active part of the Nestle boycott for almost fifteen years. When I say active, I mean active: I've been in breastfeeding management for that long as well, which includes teaching health professionals about the WHO Code on the Promotion of Breastmilk Substitutes. I tell you this so you better understand what I'm about to say has NOTHING to do with the ignorance about the issue.

Let's let the OP find the information she needs and let the Nestle issue drop within this thread.

As a personal note: I like the enthusiasm you have. A a volunteer mod, I have to remind you that this thread isn't a boycott thread.
