being a boarding school that runs year round, we get a week off in between terms and that's it

we do get a bit longer break at the end of the year, which coincides with christmas, thankfully

we're trying to get the board to require wool knickers, but so far, they are refusing on the basis of wanting to appear 'enlightened'

(but we never refer to them that way - we call them very bright, but underachieving students - they have to test at 125 or higher on an IQ test to get in and they have to have fabulously wealthy parents to afford us, so our 'thing' is to bring their academic performance in line with their ability)

Ah yes. A girl was worried that being overweight was preventing her from getting hired. I suggested that her communications skills might need a tune-up, based on the grammar and spelling errors in her original post. I was a bit abrupt in the first post, but explained myself better in the rebut.  :)
