Edit-Shirataki- You guys are right. I didn't even notice a food page or I would have been there. I probably should have searched anyways, I apologize. Given all of the publicity I should have guessed there would have been at least something.
Why does this site not let you delete threads? I've never been on a forum that doesn't... And it's rather annoying because I don't particularly feel like bumping a repeat thread back up to the front.
Please try searching here and food forums there have been plenty of posts on the subject.

Here's how you search within a specific forum
Look at the top of the forum, right under the title. You'll see
All Forums | New Topic | Library | Search
What you want is Search. Click on that and type in your keyword in the search engine. It will bring up every post ever made on your topic.
You can also search all forums by using the main search engine at the top of every CC page. Use the pull down menu and click on forums, then type in your keyword and click on Search.
You're going to find a wealth of information about these noodles.
