Hi Cheryl! Welcome to calorie count, I think you'll find it a really valuable tool for whatever your goal is! (lose weight, get healthier generally, etc.) Most people in the forums are also very friendly and supportive, which is great! My best advice for gettng the most out of this website and pursuing your goals is:
-While you are learning to navigate the site, just click on everything to figure out how to use it! That's what I always do to learn new websites/computer stuff in general. You never know what you'll find!
-"Tag" all of your foods so that you won't have to keep looking them up over and over.
-Read the site's "Success Stories" on the Blog and let them inspire you!
-Don't let your physical limitations get you down. I have asthma, which sometimes holds me back from things I want to do (e.g., running long distances), but I have found that if I find a way to work around it (e.g., lifting weights instead), it makes me even prouder afterwards.
Again, welcome and good luck with your journey! :)
Sarah
Hi Thank you so much for the great advice. I am always scared to click on things on a computer or website. I think I'll break something. Thank you for the info on tagging my foods. I had no idea what the tag was for. And I will look forward to reading the success stories.
Thank you again
Cheryl

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
