Hey everybody,
I'm looking to get in shape more than anything, and when is better than to vow to do that than New Years?? I have a sense of determination that I haven't had in prior years, though. I am not obese or completely sedentary by any means - about 155lbs and a nanny, so chasing babies is my specialty - but have grown unhappy with the amount of extra STUFF around my stomach and thighs the last year or so.
I'm lucky enough to have 3 weight loss buddies: my long-term, long-distance boyfriend, my friend in my town who is getting married in May, and a friend who lives far away who is simply pissed at her body. My boyfriend used to be 360lbs, lost 140, and is now back to 260 and unhappy. I have to motivate him a LOT. If we reach our goals by April 1 - he loses 30 and I lose 18, we get to treat ourselves to a vacation.
So, although my case is not as severe as others might be, I still want to lose weight! I'm particularly interested in any awesome recipes people may have, and I also follow Weight Watchers. If anyone out there fits a similar profile, send me a message!
