Recipe Ingredients for The New Basic Slimming Soup

1 large Onions
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 large Squash, Summer, All Varieties
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
2 tsp Garlic
46 oz Low Sodium V8 100% Vegetable Juice
14 oz Crushed Tomatoes
6 Teaspoon Juice
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
0.25 cup Parsley
3 serving Escarole

Recipe Directions for The New Basic Slimming Soup

  1. Sautee onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms, & garlic 5 min.

  2. Stir in V8, beans, tomatoes, lime juice, cumin (1tbs), cayenne (1/8tsp) & simmer for 20 min.

  3. DO NOT BOIL

  4. Add cilantro and parsley & simmer for 5 min.

  5. Store in refrigerator for 5 days
