I posted in my journal that I had to go buy a new strapless bra today... So off I went to Victoria Secret to get one. After I tried on the first TWO bras and they did not fit right I asked them to fit me. When I started I was a C+ (a very full C cup) So I assumed that I was back to a B cup... She tells me that I am a 36 (I have ALWAYS been a 36 even in HS) B+ but I might have to get C's because of how the bra is built and how I am built... OK whatever. I finally ended up with a bra that was 36 C, and it loos great! (My boyfriend didn't believe me that it fit and made me put it on when I got home...It fits PERFECT.) But now I wonder if I have walking around in the wrong size for the last few months!

i've heard that most women do not really know their bra size. i know
i've been wearing a 34B for as long as i can remember, even throughout
my weight increases and decreases. i should probably go in for a
fitting because i've heard many people say that i look more like a 32B

dove- i've been wearing a 44 or 42 C since i got so heavy.. i just went to VC a few weeks ago and tried on and tried on.. only when i put on one that i brought in on accident (a 38 D instead of a 38C) and it fit me perfectly did i realize that every bra i've ever owned my whole life has smooshed me.. until this one! i coudln't believe it! the girls are unsmooshed and perky now! :) it's awesome to find out what your real size is isn't it? :)
Dove, me too. I'm kinda hoping to drop to a 34, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
*sigh* does this mean that I have to spend a small fourtune to buy a new arsenel of bras.... caouse the one I got was $45!!! The one I am wearing is a B and suddenly it hurts!

I get mine at Costco. Yes, I'm cheap. Maybe when I've reached my goal weight I'll go to VS and buy some pretty ones. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be during their semi-annual sale.
dove,
i'm ridiculously out of proportion. i wish i had a fuller bust to balance out my very large hips. my upper body and lower body just don't match up at all.

Its just that I was wearing a 36 even when I was heavy, and now I KNOW that I should have been a 38 and now I am back to normal... I know that is good, I only have like 5 more pounds to go, but oh well... 36 C it is... Be happy right!
*pouts* I'm only a 36 B...
Well maybe you are in the wrong size too!! I was for YEARS!!!
Nope. Measured myself and my bras fit just fine. Tried on a 34 B and almost cried (waaaaay too small). I actually like my boob size, I just wanted to tease.
Gotta love VS...they measure you and give you undies advice....where else can you go and say...excuse me do you have something that will make my boobs look good in this dress? HAHA...I really did that...who else would tell you not to wear white under white?? I had no clue...you wear nude/beige...makes sense, huh?
The top two bras on my wish list are VS Very Sexy Convertible and the new Angels Sercet Embrace with the embroidery...gotta pay down trhe Angels Card first...

I was wearing a 34B and was sick of the straps falling off and the band ring up my back. I was watching my good friend Oprah, and she said that about 85% of women are in the wrong bra size. So, I went to a bra store (no VS near me) and was fitted. I am a 32C and it is a joy to have the girls housed properly. I only wish I had done it sooner!
