Hi Everybody!

I am new to CC although I have already posted a couple of times. I am in day five and doing well.  I am trying to eat something at least every hour or two.  I plan to start riding stationary bike next week but I am going to start slow probably six minutes a day for a week and increase slowly.  I really like the CC web site and I'm looking forward to support and be supported on this journey to get to a safe weight for me.  I am tired of killing myself.  In other areas of my life I have done things that increase my quality of life now the food well its time.  I am thinking about going to therapy because I don't know what I am going to do with the feelings I usually eat for but for now I am going to use this forum.  I used Yahoo to quit smoking four years ago so maybe this forum will be enough will see.  I just want to say this is not easy I have to lose over hundred pounds AND I CAN DO IT ONE DAY AT A TIME........YOU CAN DO IT ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Hug, and have a good twenty-four

Welcome Marilyn! You have come to the right place.

You're bang on about the one day at a time. Sometimes it comes down to one moment at a time, but with effort and support here, it's ALL possible!
Welcome!  You're going to love it here!

Hi Marilyn, I  joined a few days ago also.  I am finding lots to browse and lots of good information.  I have 70 some pounds to lose and it seems insurmountable, but being involved here on this site helps much.  And you are right, One day at a time......mmmm sounds like a song.  Let's do this for the long haul and make ourselves healthier!
Hi Sus,

I was going to add you my friends list but I don't know how, that's is if you want me to.  You just started on CC and so did I and you have lots to lose to so I thought maybe we could support each other.

I threw together the following thread a while back with all the little things I learned when I first started. You are more than welcome to check it out.
