New to CC and looking for some friends and advice!
So glad I found this group... my main goal is to look hott naked! haha. Hello, my name is Megan and I am 24 years old. I had a little girl about 15 months ago and can no longer use the "its the baby wieght" excuse! Not only do I want to look for myself, I want to look good for my fiance. My whole life growing up until I hit about 21 (go figure... the booze hit me) I was a very cute girl. I have never been "skinny" I am a thick girl with curves and I like em! Just not this curvy ;). Anyway... my goal is to lose 45 lbs total. I am currently at 180 (by far the biggest I have EVER been) and would like to lose at least 30 lbs by june or july? does this goal sound crazy??? I just would like to meet people who may be going through the same thing or who have already gone through it and may have any advice or tips for me? I really don't know much about dieting except what I read on the internet and I am very reluctant to try diet pills in fear they won't work after spending all that money. But if you have any help/advice please let me know! Thank you!
Hey Megan!
I don't know how you've been doing since you posted this in February, but it is totally possible to lose 30 lbs. by June or July! I lost 30 lbs. exactly in three months. I'm a super curvy girl (hello boobs and butt!) that also happens to be legitimately big-boned, so when I gain even a bit of weight, you can tell! But when I'm in shape, I love my curves too!
All I did was exercise at home with different work-out tapes, small free weights and an exercise band; cut out fast food - except Subway - I lived for that!; and really watched my portions and types of foods I was eating. So I have done it and in a healthy way - no crazy stravation crap! I also think I may have substituted a Slim Fast drink here and there for breakfast or lunch on the go - that helped when I was in a hurry.
Hopefully this helps - you can do it!!!

Pandia,
Have you put your information into CC.? I find it a great tool especially the eat meter and burn meter. If you keep your eat meter below 400-600 calories from your burn meter it should become easier to loose the weight. But you also need to put in your activity in CC because your body needs 1200 cal a day to work. If you burn it by exercising you may feel weak, or worse hungry.
Yes - I've been logging everything I eat each day, as well as all of my other info. Unfortunately I had bronchitis last week and working out wasn't an option at all, as I couldn't breathe. :(
Pandia17,
Life is life, today is today. Bronchitis is more important to treat. Did you keep up with your calories or go over? Keeping your weight in check and on hold is important until your better. Start slow again if you cannot exercise do small stuff until you can.
Fast food?Fast answers.
