So exercising has been basically zero lately besides a walk every once in a while. My schedule has been KILLING me. I've been doing pretty well though as far as staying in my calorie range even though things have been emotionally stressful lately and I've wanted to get into the junk food...but I have resisted! I'm up a little today to 153.2 because it's the beginning of TTOM today, but it's still down from last Thursday at 154 so I'm not complaining at all. I know it's mostly water weight and stuff and it'll go down soon.
Ollamo-no worries about having a bad week. everyone has bad weeks. but you have the right attitude in that today is a new day and just put the bad week behind you. i'm an emotional eater (also a bored eater) and i don't know why either. I think maybe, for some odd reason, i find comfort in food. it's something i really really have to work at stopping. yesterday i noticed myself start to 'emotionally eat' and i stopped myself saying, "is this really going to make me feel any better?" And the answer was no. So i grabbed a bottle of water instead (b/c it's possible i was just thirsty too), put on some relaxing music, and calmed down for a bit. then the need to eat went away. sometimes i go for a walk too if i can to get my mind off whatever it is i'm stressing about and also to get away from the food.
You can kick this thing in the ass though...I know you can!![]()

Welcome nocciola! How's everyone been doing today? Today was another bad day emotionally and very stressful, but I refrained from any real emotional eating (although I did let myself have one of those awesome eater Reeses' eggs....mmm so good). I'm excited to go home for easter this weekend and actually have some good, decent food and not crappy dining hall food. I swear all I've eaten for the past 2 weeks for dinner are sandwiches b/c everything else is complete crap and just so bad for you. Yay college.

Glad to see everyone is doing great. I did do better yesterday. I bought a lot of rice cakes last weekend. Those have helped out so so much. I just grab one of those wheni feel like snacking. I love rice cakes!! Plus it helps me stay in my calorie range.
I am ready for easter too! OCean reeses eggs are my favorite candy ever! Gosh i want some now lol I'm not sure what i am going to cook..i have been thinking about it though?

ollamo rice cakes are my absolute favorite food! I don't get why people don't like them! They're yummy and so low in cals you can almost go to town when you need a snack. I think I'm going for one right now!

So I've been doing really well this week and am now down to 152! sweetness. I finally got home yesterday and had Papa Gino's, but I was able to fit it into my cals for the day! It's raining today but I'm hoping to sneak in a walk at some point...this week was beyond insane and I only got to the gym once :(.

Today has been very hard.. easter brunch this am and easter dinnerin a couple of hours.. I know I went over my calories but I watched my portions this morning and only had 1 helping. I ate fruit instead of my aunts homemade cinnamon rolls that I have had every year at Easter since I was 5! I will just have to hop on my exercise machine when I get home instead of being full and laying on the couch.. (can you all tell that I am trying tio talk myself into doing the right thing

Tomorrow is my birthday...i plan on baking a cake!!!I can't wait, i love baking!!!!I just hope i can keep my portions in control and not over do it.

I think I did ok yesterday...maybe a little bit over but not by too much so I'm not that worried. Time to get down to business again though. This week is going to be much easier schedule-wise so I'm hoping I can make it to the gym more than once!

its been quiet in here lately!!
things have been really great for me lately! this morning, for the first time in god knows how long, i saw the 140s! granted it was 149.8, but still! it counts. i've been really bad about exercise though just because of the basically NO time whatsoever i have to get to the gym. i'm still trying to do my walking though when possible to at least get some kind of exercise. but so far just watching my calories has really been doing it for me. i've been doing so well lately though that i don't want to do a cheat day or anything, even though i know they're good for the metabolism and stuff, but i don't want to mess up my streak!

so today for lunch is one of my fav things ever...NE clam chowder in a bread bowl. i don't even want to know how many cals are in that thing but it's soo good :(. i'm going to have to do some serious resisting. maybe just some chower and then, i dunno, a piece of toast? grrrr this is going to be harder than i thought. but i shall fight the bread bowl with everything i've got
. bread is so my weakness. anyone else have a 'weakness' food?
ok so I didn't win the battle with the bread bowl...BUT I did only have it in moderation and fit it in nicely into my cals for the day.

so I've definately noticed that when I don't drink 2 L of water a day or so, I am up in weight the next day! it's crazy. I think I'm going to have to work really hard to get all that water into me every day so my scale can report the lowest possible!

so I'm back on track this week after a bit of an indulgent weekend. I gained some from water weight, but I'm drinking a ton now to get myself out of it. Starting fresh is the way to go!
