This is the new thread to replace the old Any Christian's out there wanting to get their temple in shape?
Basically we are a group of Christians with Passion, Spirit and Fire for the Lord!! We are doing this together and with His help! We support and encourage one another on this journey with prayer, scripture, godly advice, and humor too! Anyone is welcome! Come on in and join us! Inspire and be inspired! Laugh alot too and Rejoice in the Lord and all He has done!

Points system for CCCC starting July 1
Every 15 min of excercise = 3pts
Every 8 oz of water = 2pts
Every serving of fruit of veggie (serving sizes on post #5)= 1pt
Spiritual Food = 2pts
Every pound lost by the end will be 1pt each (emphasis not on pounds lost but on healthy lifestyle changes)
Every inch lost = 1pt (to be counted at the end too)
Weigh in on July 1 for start weight
And again on Aug 1 for end weight (and point total)
Everyone send me their weekly pts totals from the previous week on Sundays via private message.
Weightloss totals or inches not necessary until the final day, but starting weight and inches in by JULY 1 (also message me those : ) )
There are no penalties this round.. except for not being the winner!!!!! So do your best to keep up and get the lead! Everybody work hard and HAVE FUN!!
Be careful not to get too much water because it can be dangerous... seriously look it up..it can.. And don't over do it or hurt yourself trying to win (I did that in my last challenge and was out for a while and couldn't excercise!!!) So have fun, work hard, but also be careful!!
And those who want weekly accountability can weigh in and post on Sundays...

This is good, but didn't you want the stats entered on this thread instead of to your private mail, so you could keep track better?
Yes, but you have to send them to me in my PM so I can update it. Cause only the original poster can edit the original post. I didn't add the weight or measurements. I was wondering if you guys wanted that information posted. I was going to.. but thought I should ask.. cause some people don't like to do it. But I do really need to do it to help me to keep track of it all, yeah!! So everybody give me the okay to post your stuff..

Here is a nice handy reference for serving sizes according to the USDA...
Fruit: 1 medium piece of fresh fruit, OR 1/2 cup of cut up fresh fruit, OR 1/2 cup of canned fruit in natural juices.
Veggies: 1 cup of fresh uncooked leafy variety, OR 1/2 cup cooked or canned vegetables.
Juices: 6 ounces (3/4 cup) of 100% fruit OR 100% vegetable juice (and contain NO added sugars)
Dried Fruit: 1/4 cup (e.g. raisins, apricots or prunes)
Avacado, coconut and olives do NOT count according to the 5 a day plan because of their extremely HIGH fat content!

Haha I saw that post on the old one dances... so now you sing too huh! 7 pts... pfft.. that's nothing... too bad Tracker isn't here to fight with ya too! LOL! Just kidding.. I have like 4 pts for the day so far. I don't get up till 9 or 10.. that is an improvement... believe me! Glory to God. And I am working on making it up at 8:00!

I tried to send everbody I could think of a message about our move... and now I can't send any more messages out. = ( I have a few more people to let know.. but got everybody who is doing the challenge I think.
I think eating Avacados (god given) etc. should count! A doctor told me that I need to eat Avacados. They are high in GOOD fat. they are slow burners and extremely repeat: extremely healthy. I think if God supplied it we can count it. He was the smart one to give it to us.
So, I'm counting it. Praise God :)

Oh yes, I still want everybody to send them to me on PM, but not for private reasons.. for keeping track of it easier. Then if you guys don't mind I will put it on the main post up top. It is too hard to fish through all the posts and track down what everybody stats and points are.. so that is why I am having everybody pm me. ; )

Honestly there are better ways to get that same good fat...like cold pressed olive oil...which would give you omega 3's too!

waist 39 (that's up one)?! Last I checked it was 38
Hip: 52.5 (also up)?! Last I checked it was 51
Arms: 16 this was a new measurement for me to take.
Legs: 29 also a new measurement for me to take.
I don't normally measure arms/legs so that should be interesting.
Not only is my weight up 4#'s this week. But my waist and hips were up too. It's water weight for sure! So, when I drop that 4#'s this week don't think It's a miracle. It needs to come back off!
As far as my size goes. I go to Lane Bryant and buy the 14 top and 14 skirt. But for pants it's higher 18 however if it has stretch in it than I can do a 16 pant. But I really should say an 18 for the bottom which is new territory for me. I've never been over 200 pounds before because I was a pro dieter. Up and down the same 30 pounds every year sometimes twice. It's been a long time since I've tried to do something I can "live" with. That's what I'm all about now. No more "dieting". However, I do think these challenges are very good and important they help you tweak when you should be tweaking :)

chubbs....not trying to be a pill only wanting to inform folks those are extremley healthy foods. Olives, coconut, advocados. I would say one advocado would be a 1/2 cup so a serving. sorta like a peice of fruit.
Tomatoes are HIGH in protein. So, slap them on everything.
I had to learn to eat things high in protein that are RAW and natural. Not just meat. Like Almonds are extremely healthy. I mean off the charts! But high in good fats. I use almonds w/ a daily apple. A daily yogurt w/live cultures w/ oatmeal. I'm a real Health NUT! LOL
You only need like 7 nuts w/ each of those. Not many.
Harvard did a study on nuts. A handful of any kind. Almonds/raw just happen to be the KING of nuts. INcrease your life span on avg. 3-5 years. So, go nuts. they are amazing little powerful bites.

Sounds like a good plan dances.. doing both is fine.. and not a bad idea so we can keep up with who we need to beat!! LOL! It will encourage us to do more!
