Howdy, my name is Warren, I'm 22 and I live in Puyallup WA, a cat, a bearded dragon and two ferrets whom drive me absolutely crazy. I love drumming at SCA events (as well as on a trap set) and I love art. I came to CC to get tips on how I can lose the 100lbs I gained in a failed marrige, as I apperently have chronic depression and see my waight as a foot hold to my depression.

Welcome welcome welcome :)

CC has tips, tools, support, friends, so many things all in one.

Did you start in the beginning depressed which made you eat, ergo gain weight... but now maybe your weight is the depression factor?

Many of us find some sort of comfort in food one way or another, and at least for me, that feeling hasn't ever gone away. I know better now, and can make healthier choices - its a continuous process, a lifestyle change, a forever thing.

We are here for you!

Warren,

How nice to meet you, Warren.  If there is any way I can help you, just give a holler.

Well now that you've come here you've got plenty of new friends that are doing what you're doing.  Good luck and read the forums as much as you can, they're pretty helpful.

Hey Warren, I am 23 from Florida and I used to have SEVEN ferrets. Now I have a cat, a dog, and 4 parrots. Don't be depressed! You're going to lose weight here. I have already lost 8 pounds in less than 2 weeks!

Hey Warren,

Welcome to CC, there it's a great site with a lot of good help and advice.  I'd say the first step toward losing 100 lbs is to start logging your calories, it's the best thing I've found so far.

Good luck we're all in the same boat!

Hi Warren

Welcome to CC. My best advice is increase your activity. Working up a sweat really helps keep clinical depression symptoms at bay.
