New to counting... Needs a buddy!
Hi! My name is Beth and I am new to calorie counting. I am 27, 5'5 and I weigh 205lbs. I have alot of work in front of me. I live with my boyfriend and his brother and they eat anything they can get their hands on. On Saturday night when I went to put my favorite jeans on and they didn't fit, I threw a fit. I have gained 15lbs since his brother moving in with us 2 months ago. I went shopping and bought healthy food and snacks. When we came home, my boyfriend threw away all of the chips, cookies and bad snacks.
I am going to try my hardest to stay focused so I can reach my goal. The goal is 150lbs by June 2010. Maybe if I can get a buddy, they will help stay focused and help push me to retain my goal earlier than June.

Good luck to you. It is really hard to stick with. But it is so worth it. I have lost 50 pounds in the past two years and I still have a long way to go to reach my goal. The most important thing is not to get down on yourself and stay motivated.
