I'm a huge cinnamon freak myself; I like to mix it in with yogurt, applesauce or, in a slightly weird twist, I like to throw it into my scrambled eggs (with a bit of maple syrup) - it sounds disgusting, but it's like french toast without the bread.

I put cinnamon on pretty much everything I eat.  I've been obsessed for years.  I just went in my kitchen to make some oatmeal and found that my husband had used the tiny bit we had left Yell

I wasn't going to go grocery shopping until later, but now I have to go early because I can't eat oatmeal without cinnamon.

Thanks for the info....I never knew that! I am going to eat more cinnamon now for sure :)

i like cinnamon too... i will sprinkle some on my oatmeal or in my coffee (yes im weird)

^mmmm cinnamon in coffee is amazing w. a little fat free half and half (20 cals per tbsp)

I love cinnamon so much and have eaten it in oatmeal, on toast, put it in every baked good i make...for years.  Oddly enough, it never crossed my mind to check the nutritional values....Wow! Thanks for the info, it's such a spicy little power house!

I absolutely LOVE cinnamon.  I put it on everything.  Did you know it has lots of other health benefits? Like it helps control/stabilize blood sugar.  Just google it, it's awesome.

My favorite way to eat cinnamon is mixed with cottage cheese or oatmeal.  Of course I use a ton =]

I use to gnaw on cinnamon sticks! My favorite is to put it in milk with some ginger and nutmeg. It's a great milkshake substitute for me lol

Cinnamon is known to lower blood sugar & rev your metabolism! It also has TONS of antioxidants - more than a lot of fruits & vegetables!!!

I put cinnamon on my canned purred pumpkin! Oh boy is it delicious! You should try "pumpkin pie" spice which is a combination of Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg & maybe a touch of Ginger! It's pretty rockin' plus it's got ALL of those spices rolled into ONE which is like a Quadruple WAMMY! ha ha!! Enjoy your cinnamon and I will do the same with mine!

*Always be sure to read labels though cause sometimes food manufaturers will be sneaky and put sugar in the mix - which is UNACCEPTABLE (in my mind) because cinnamon is wonderful ON IT'S own!

Thanks for the tip about the fiber, didn't know that...  I will add this to my yogurt right away!

Wow, splendid!  Been adding 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon to my yogurt daily.  Tremendous!  Thanks again.

i wasn't aware that it had such good nutrients, but then again i dont know how you can stand to eat 1 tbs in your yogut, i hope its a large serving. most of the time i cant stand more than a tsp max in a serving size of food

I read somewhere (recently) to try to have 1/2 tsp to 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon in your diet each day.  I've been throwing a half teaspoon in my smoothies lately.  Yogurt, fruit, 1 % milk, protein powder.

I take one cup of plain, lowfat yogurt, add 2 tablespoons of Smuckers sugar-free red raspberry preserves (sweetened with Splenda) and now one tablespoon of ground cinnamon.  Yeah, the cinnamon is a strong presence, but I like it.  The preserves are sufficient sweetness.

Yogurt = 140 calories; preserves = 20 calories; cinnamon = 17 calories.

Total for the whole thing: 177 calories, 3.1g fat, 12.3g protein, 3.6g fiber.

i like adding frozen fruit to my silouhette 0+ yogurt

- 40g yogurt is 40cal
- 1/2 cup frozen mango/peaches = 60calories
-1/2 cup frozen blueberries = 50 calories
- all bran buds - 80 calories (and 44% of your daily fibre)
-1tbsp of cinnamon
-2splenda
