Well, any?  I can only think of one.

As Im narrowing in on my goal weight, I resolve to continue with the foods that have helped me lose weight be healthier but to manage maintenance.

i have a few.

  1. quit "eating my feelings".
  2. stop binging in general.
  3. don't keep any trigger foods in the house.
  4. not to give up on my healthy/calorie-conscious lifestyle.
  5. to manage maintenance when i get to my goal weight.

great thread :)

I set general goals, rather than resolutions...(not sure of exact difference but "resolution" scares me, lol)

- spend less on food (ie, buy more stuff in season, but potatoes instead of a calorie counted "potato" dish, etc). Kind of ties into my second one:

- cook more from scratch/stop relying so heavily on prepackaged foods (generally "healthy" stuff, but am on a strict budget)

- branch out and try at least one new meal a week

  • Satisfy cravings with proper portion control to avoid binge eating
  • Maintain my current weight
  • Drink more water

 That sounds about right.

I wish I could say cutting down on portions but I know I will break it New Years Day!! ha ha!

To get my daily calorie intake up to at least 2,500 so I can gain some much needed weight and get my period back.

Good luck with all your goals too Smile

hmmm i never even thought of this..

avoiding sugar, as i eat it in EXCESS, maybe not avoid it, but definetly cut down..just eat normally, healthy, whole foods, lots of water like always, maybe more teas to help cravings

i also want to experiment more with healthy baking..more recipes, bigger variety of foods rather than the same things every day

i think def less sugar though, and i will be happy

  • control portions - that'll be the hardest for me
  • cook more meals from fresh/whole foods
  • limit sodas - even diet!
  • eat more fruit & veggies

Eat more green vegetables, beyond broccoli & baby spinach.

Eat out at restaurants less!  Chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants are my downfall.  Also eat more fruits and veggies, cook for myself more and cut back on mindless snacking.

Eat less processed foods.

Eat more regularly.

Eat more nutritiously.

Stop binging.

Portion control.

Learn to work in small indulgences.

portion control, less processed foods and try unusual foods

  • stick to a low/lower sodium diet so I don't have more blood pressure issues
  • eat more fruits and vegetables and less processed food
  • Try not to eat anything from work or no more than 1 cookie a day.I work in a bakery and one cookie is like 200 calories and I guess I could burn that off just because I work standing at least 6 hours a day.

I'm starting all of this tomorrow :D

  • To not eat so much sugar or sodium
  • To not eat so early just because i'm craving the food
  • To not feel guilty when I eat something not so healthy
  • To not eat SO MUCH and get a bad stomach ache

Wish me luck tomorrow! <3

My resolution is to eat one 'Wow' food a day.

I am so tired of eating things that don't really satisfy me in the flavor department. Whether it is an awesome fruit, perfectly composed sandwich, stir-fry.....I am going to eat something delicious (and healthy) every day!

I am aiming to get back to my routine that helped me lose 75 lbs before i got ill. I *know* i can do this, it just took me a month to get my mojo back.

So now i am more motivated, the season to be jolly (and eat lots!) is over, thank god, and not being confronted with people who are happy because they are eating lots (adverts on tv or in shops or in magazines/papers) will certainly help.

I am hoping to lose 20 lbs before my daughter's 1st birthday in April! Slow and steady wins the race, no foolishly high expectations, just reasonable and maintainable losses.

My biggest one is that I'm challenging myself to a year without refined sugar, except organic or dark chocolate (cuz my quality of life decreases with out it, lol).

I'm also going to serioulsly avoid white flour, bad fried foods, bad fast food, chips, fries, and white rice.

Just chose wisely and eat moderately...I want and try and cut down on diet soda which will be easy since I dont have the money for it

Figure out what a normal teen girl eats like (amount, calories, types of food) and then actually eat that way.

I'm sick of my skewed and unhealthy restriction.
