New and on Day 5!
I love this site! I'm already thinking differently about what I put in my mouth, mostly because I know that I'll need to track it on my home page later that night. My daughters and I went grocery shopping last night and we took forever looking at labels and making good choices. It was easy and fun. I've felt really good the last 5 days due to cutting out mindless eating. I've always eaten healthily, but I'd pork out on healthy stuff, making me feel gross and full. And here I am 50 lbs overweight. Lol. I'm anxious to check out the motivation forums...I tend to eat more at night while sitting in front of the tv. I sneak Hot Tamales. Okay, enough for now. Thanks for allowing me to introduce myself!

Cool! Are you doing the keeping track of calories thing? Do you enter each food in as the day goes on or wait until the end of the day? Good luck to you, too!
I normally enter everything I had for breakfast plus whatever I brought for lunch when I get to work in the morning. Then after dinner I enter dinner. That works well for me as then I don't want to eat after dinner as I'd have to get back on to log it.
This site works perfect for me as I'm very disciplined about keeping track of things being an accountant.
After week one I'm down about 5 so I am very pleased. ![]()

I'm a bit sad in that I haven't had any Hot Tamales for about a week!!
My husband is an accountant, too, so I can relate to your comments. :-) I'm not quite that orderly, though I wish I was!
I do some Hot Tamales around, and only have a few at a time (as opposed to the whole box within 48 hours).
My kids went to camp this week (change of routine) so I've gotten out of the habit of logging in my foods; ugh! I just did today's foods, though. I did lose 2 lbs the first week when I was diligent about logging foods, so it truly does work. That's great you've lost 5!
Keep going - soon you'll have lost 10!
