New to this!

Hello to all!

I am very new to this site....joined up on the 20th.

I have struggled with obesity most of my adult life.  More so after I had children.

I am currently weighing in at 258 pounds and am only 5'2".

I recently made a decision to consider lapband surgery.  I am now seeing a private dr. for the 7 month prep period.  I hope to be the "miracle dieter" that loses too much weight during the 7 months to qualify for the surgery.  However, if I don't succeed this time...I'm going thru with the surgery.

I'm still learning my way around this site....so any advice would be appreciated.

Best wishes to everyone today!

Welcome! If you haven't already, check out the stickied thread in the Weight Loss forum. A lot of useful links. The New and Improved Calorie-Count "Diet" is especially helpful.

Thanks very much.  I'll check it out.

Have a great day!
