Hi everyone! Well, I'm new here. Actually, I've been here for a while just reading some great and inspirational posts. Anyways, I would like to get some advice on my eating habits.

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Weight: 55kg

Height: 165cm

Calorie intake: 1200-500

Exercise: 30min - 60min 7 days a week

Goal weight: 50kg

I've been dieting for about almost 9 months. I started off 62kg. I went to some pretty drastic measures of starving myself with 900 calories and exercising 60 mins daily. But now I've started having problems like overeating? I can just dwell around the kitchen and find things to eat. I used to eat until I feel like vomitting but now I know when to stop myself, but I still feel bad going over 1200 cals because it seems that if I eat more than 1300cals I won't lose weight. I also don't know how to calculate maintainence calories. I just want to stop struggling with this eating problem and lose some weight, my stomach pouts out a little..I tried going cold turkey on junk once and now when I get the chance to eat junk, I'd go full on, I don't know how to eat in moderation.

Welcome to CC! Don't worry about over indulging yourself. Unless your eating over 2000 calories a day you're not in big trouble. I'd reccomend 1300-1500 :]
I'm not good at moderation either. You shouldn't cut fats and sweets out of your diet all together, but learning how much is enough can be really freaking hard.

One thing; don't dwell in the kitchen. Find a room in your house that you never eat in (i.e. bedroom or bathroom) and go there when you want to overindulge.

Two things I do to stop myself from overeating is whenever I feel hungry I wait fifteen minutes before eating just to see if I really was hungry or if I was just bored. Also, I make sure that I stay hydrated because being dehydrated can lead to feelings of hunger.

I hope this helps and good luck with your diet!
