Hi everyone! I am 20 about to be 21 on March 5th. I had twin girls on Sept. 28th of last year. It was a very complicated pregnancy and I had to go on bedrest from July until they were born. I was only allowed up to go to the bathroom, take a shower once a day, and get food. Because of this, I gained ALOT of weight. I was approx. 140 lbs when I got pregnant. By the end of my pregnancy I was 240 lbs. My girls were very premature and in the hospital until recently, so I didnt breast feed and NONE of the weight has come off. I had to go and visit them in the hospital on a daily basis for hours on end. So I put excercise aside for them. Now that they are both home, I am ready to get back to my old self! I hate the way I look now, Im so digusted. I try to remind myself that this was unavoidable given the circumstances, but it doesnt always make me feel better. On top of that, at my old weight I was very confident, could wear bikinis and skirts, etc. Now I have no self esteem at all because my body was taken from me. I have stretch marks EVERKYWHERE and feel like a fat slob! I am glad I found this forum and am very excited to meet everone and get some great advice! I have gone a low calorie diet before so I dont think it will be too difficult.
