Exactly 6 weeks ago today, I gave birth to my second child.  I'm healthy and ready to start the journey back to my pre-pregnancy weight.  I was in much better shape before this pregnancy than my first pregnancy, so I'm hoping I'll get back to my goal weight faster.

I began counting my calories this morning with Calorie Count and did my 'old faithful' work-out video this morning.  Since I'm continuing to nurse my daughter, I know I can't cut my calories drastically, but I am watching that total caloric intake.

In February 2007, I began a regimen of counting calories with Calorie Count and calculating my calories burned.  My husband joined me and by June 2007, we each had lost 20 lbs a piece.  We ate sensibly-using a food scale for everything-cereal, chips, you name it, we measured it.  This system truly worked for us and hopefully will work again for my 25 lbs countdown!

I've posted my goal weight/image picture on my desktop so I can see it every morning.  I broke out the food scale, threw out the sweets, and am trying to stay focused.  I want to be a healthy person for myself and my children.  Any other ideas to keep me focused are welcome!  Keep your fingers crossed for me!
