My name is Teresa friends call me Tess. I was a back sliden christian and have come back to our Father. I am 48 yo and dedicated my life to Jesus  when I was 15 but because of the home life I was in I did not stay very long with God in my life. Since then I have been back and forth each time not really happy with where  was. Back in 1999 I found the church I belonged to finally but my marriage was rocky well exactually more then rocky. My husband (ex) was very abusive mentally emotionally and physically to me. I left him to begin a new life. I met my new husband of almost 8 years now and have now found my way in life. There is a lot in my life that has happened to me in between my walks with God mostly bad things but with the grace of God I can overcome them all. Thanks for this group and God bless everyone.

Welcome Tess. I'm happy that you found us and also happy that things are going well with you now. I know you've gone through some horrible stuff but as I read your bio I'm so happy that God helped you through it all.
