Hey everyone,
I am 24 and I recently gained 12lbs...all in the thigh and gut...it seems so hard to loose any weight at all...I have been going to the gym for a little over a month and lost 1lb...What am I doing wrong!!!!!!!!!!
Syurih :(
I used to have the same problem. It seemed that if I worked out for an hour 5 days a week I stayed the same size as I was when I never worked out. Count your calories! In my experiance there is nothing more important than what you fuel your body with. Load up on the fruits, veggies, and low fat protiens (fish, beans, boneless/skinless chicken, and even some pork). Fiber is key. It keeps you fuller for longer.
I stopped working out for a few months to focus fully on my nutrition. I feel like I still eat the same amount of food it's just better food. Google Michi's Ladder, it really helped me. Without working out I lost 3 pounds in just over a month. Now I feel like eating healthy is natural and not something I'm trying to do or working hard at.
When you eat is just as important as what you eat. Breakfast within an hour of waking up. Followed by food every 3 hours. Lots of small meals keep your blood sugar level and your metabelism going. And of course like every one knows water, water, water!
I think once you get your nutrition going you'll see a big difference.
