Sorry, I agree with the first poster. Unless you're a goldfish, why try to look like one? :P Ornella, I'm sure you're a perfectly lovely young woman but none of those photos in your gallery do you justice at all - you don't need to suck in your cheeks and try to look thinner, it just looks silly (if you're trying for the 'sultry, sexy' look, this isn't really the time or place for it either.) Look straight at the camera, relax and SMILE, and see how that comes out...

I am also a female and was in the AF for ten years, just got out in Feb 2007 and now work for the AF as a civil servant at Edwards AFB, CA.

That part is pretty exciting and scary all at the same time.  When I got there, I was all excited...that is until my family said goodbye and left...then I wondered what I got myself in to!

Yes they tend to get in the way [= but i can still see clearly hehe. Im still getting used to them although, when i was born to about 8 years old i had bangs.

Face.... goofy!  I have to agree with some, that look is strange.  I bet you're really pretty though.

The only thing I will say is, you might find you regret that haircut in basic training.  I remember other girls in my flight really struggling with their hair.  Seemed like all long and braidable or all short above the collar worked best.  Just a thought.  Good luck.

My DD15 wants bangs too. Must be the trend, I guess. Short or long, bangs or no, mohawk or mullet... heck... she would look great completely bald... 

BUT I still have to chuckle because I made her wear bangs when she was younger for years and years, until she rebelled on me and insisted on growing them out! And now she wants them cut again...  But it's hair... hair is meant to be fun. To change, to experiment... so this reminds me I promised to make an appointment for her!
