Why do you want to lose 10 lbs? If you think you're too big, I would guess that strength training (speaking of STRONG) would help you to look better/skinnier and feel better.

I would like to chat with you, although I can't promise I can be on every day. I'm 5' 2" and 110 - 113 lbs. I want to lose 5 - 10 lbs to reduce stress on the surface of my palms (I am a gymnast).

If you put your goal weight in the BMI calculator, you will see that 100 is mildly underweight for your hieight. Not something you should be striving for. Why do you want to be smaller at this point? You may think you want it, but trust me, your body wants to be healthy and strong, Not super skinny. The other posters strength training suggestion was a better idea.

How old are you, and what is your history with dieting?

I will add you as a friend, but I don't think you should be losing.....

I would like to remind you of the posting guidelines...

Promotion of starvation diets or habits that exhibit signs of an eating disorder ("pro-ana", "pro-mia", etc.) is prohibited.

You are asking us to motivate you to become underweight when you are already at a healthy weight, that's not conducive to CC's mission of encouraging healthy, sustainable, weight management.

If you'd like to change your body then exercise and focus on body composition, not on losing weight. you have no weight to lose and i'm sure you look great. make sure your caloric intake is above 1500 ALWAYS!! since this is the minimum for teens, and please reevaluate your goals. if you are so adamant about losing weight talk to a physician about your plan first, i'm sure they will discourage it.

GO ANOREXIA!!!!

Just kidding. You're about as big as me- I think. Don't do it, don't loose weight. Trust me, you'll even out. Although, If you do want to gain- well, actually tone- muscle you should try out for soccer or softball.

P.S. If you do join softball, DON'T GET HIT! It hurts so badly.
