I'll be starting the New Year in South America on vacation. As it will be summer there, I want to feel comfortable and look good in a bikini.

My goal is to lose 20lbs by January 1st.

I'll be posting my progress here every Monday. Yes Monday!, I want to be accountable for my weekends too!

This may be extra challenging as it goes through the holidays, but I really want to reach my goal!! It would be fun to go on this journey with the support from other people with similar goals.

Itsmeisha, I will indeed have a drink to celebrate our loss (its a nor-easter, so the weather is muggy and the beer is calling me) but please note I'm not a girl ;)

imonadiet - I know what you're taking about! I often eat more right before it and get super bloated during. Very frustrating.  But then I love to see that number on the scale right after, as it is usually lower.

sharkythesmurf - don't worry. See it in a positive way. You didn't lose, but you didn't gain either!! Maintaining is better than gaining.

sableandargent - awesome to see that we have a guy on the thread. It's always nice to have the other perspective of things.

 

So I took my daughter to see America's Best Dance Crew Live tonight and we had Pizza. The show was at Madison Square Garden so it was Authentic NY style pizza, I actually was able to stay with in my calorie limit, and she's selling Candy and I didn't eat one package of twizzlers, I was soooo tempted. By the way the Jabberwokeez werer awsome, does anyone watch the show

Yay!  Good job everyone!  Let's have EVERYONE's numbers go down by this monday.

Sharky,the weight will come down. Especially if you are eating right and exercising. It took me a good month before I started seeing weight loss. Then people plateau after they hit a certain point. Look at the bright side, at least you're not gaining.

I agree with Sharky but it is discouraging.  I have only lost one measly pound also, which I am sure I gained back Saturday (havent weighed myself since Friday).  I had a much needed girls night and we over-ate, drank too much and slept too little.  I am back on track this week though and am hoping for some results by next Monday.  Good luck everyone, no one said it was going to be easy!:)

I am still at 144lbs.  I hope that I am able to get into a exercise routine, but it's looking kind of hard between school and work.  I will keep my head up!

I am down .5 lb to 180.5

It's not much but I'll take it because my birthday was this weekend and I ate more than normal.

 

 

I'm back to 140... it's been a difficult week, dealing with family emergency, but I'm starting a new week and hope to do much better. I will be posting my weight next week late because I'm off to see my family. Have a great week everyone!!

 

Tam- Hey it's okay. Leave last week behind and start anew. You will lose this week stay focused.

MC- At least you didn't gain

diet- that weight loss is better than none.

Since I have switched my day to Friday I will not weigh again until Friday. I was down 1.1  All this working out and not losing is killing me. I'm hoping ot lose this week though. Don't forget to measure yourself ladies. Maybe you are losing inches

The board has been quiet....


I'm happy to report that I am down to 138.2 lbs woohooo!!

That is so funny, i weighed myself this morning and that was exactly what my weight was!  I am finally starting to see results, albeit small ones.  I think I need to step up on the cardio.  Things are going good though, I feel like I have more energy and am starting to see some definiton from working out with my personal trainer.  Someone even asked me if I had lost some weight yesterday;) 

Keep up the hard work everyone! 

I weighed myself last Thursday and was down 5lbs - Yippee.  However, I stepped on the scale this morning and it was a good old 143lbs.  Maybe I was sleepy last week. 

No loss this morning.  I am going to start up the beginner's exercise program tonight because after all it is MONDAY!  So maybe that will work.

I haven't posted on this site for a minute. How is everyone, Hey Tamarita!!!!

Well I am happy to report that this morning I was down 2.2 and when I weighed on Friday I was down 1.5 so at 3.7  I am finally under 200. I am down to 198. Looking at your 144 pounds and 138 pounds I feel like freakin' Shrek!!! 

congrats on your successful weight loss, ladies. Lets do the same this week!!!
