New member, had my baby girl last month!
Hi all,
I had my baby girl seven weeks ago and hoping to loose the excess weight I gained. I was already a little over weight before I had her so its not all baby weight ( as much as I like to think it is!)
I'd really like a buddy to help each other along...
I'm having my baby in 6 weeks and I'm pretty much in the same situation as you! I was a little over weight before baby and I've just about gained 20 lbs now in the pregnancy!
Once I have baby I'm gonna be working hard to get it off!
I had my second child 3 weeks ago. I'm only 22 years old. I gained 53 pounds this time and about 60 last time. I lost it all plus some within 5-6 months with my daughter (first child) and that was when I was 19. Hopefully I can do it again! I have already lost about 27 pounds. I am eating super healthy and walking about 40 min a day. I am looking for a breastfeeding mom to share tips and ideas with! Are you also nursing? How many calories are you allowing yourself, if you don't mind me asking... I am constantly hungry and eating... but I dont remember being so STARVING last time I was breastfeeding!
I need a buddy too! My man does NOT want to eat healthy with me. He even got mad last night because I said I didn't want to go to the movie theater because we used to stuff our selves full of candy, popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream and nachos when I was pregnant at the movies. I think I would cry if I had to sit through the movies without all that stuff and him eating it next to me!! Thats like his favorite thing to do besides going out to eat lol. Somehow, I have stuck to this new healthy lifestyle for two weeks now, with everyone around me eating junk and Easter candy.. oh and I forgot to mention that we own three restaurant/bars, lol!
Hey everyone..this is my 1st time on here and i agree i think we all need xtra support especially after the birth of children...wow, how life changes :) I just had my 3rd child 5 weeks ago (i also have a 9 and 6 year old)...what an awesome experience, but the weight coming off doesnt seem to be the battle its more time that i have trouble with! My husband is in the military and works shiftwork and its been a challenge to workout around his schedule :)
Katiejez...i find the same prob. this time around...i dont remember being this hungry all the time...ive so far found that if i eat frequently and small throughout the day it seems to combat hunger a lil more...and drowning myself in extra water :)
Why do I get bad cramps after I eat?
Suspect lactose intolerance when abdominal cramps are a problem, especially after breakfast when milk products are consumed. Lactose... Read more
